The Bharat Scout & Guide
The Bharat Scout & Guide is a very active body of this school. There are 32 scouts and 32 guides in the school. The Guide Captain Mrs. Indu Bala always keeps them aware of the Law & Promise of Bharat Scout & Guide. Regular classes are taken by the guide captain.
The scouts & guides are very active and aware of their duties. In the School Assembly, In the recess period, and in all functions they perform very well. They always maintain discipline in the school.
They celebrate all the National Festivals like Independence Day, Republic Day, etc., and also participate in cultural activities and Flag Ceremony as well as Bharat Scout & Guide Festivals as ‘Thinking Day’ and ‘Flag Day’ etc. They take part in cultural activities and various competitions such as Drawing, Speech, and Slogan Writing. They participate in every school activity such as ‘Tree Plantation’, ‘Rallies’, ‘Camps(Polio & Blood Donation)’ and ‘Society Awareness’.
They always help needy students of the school and are aware of other students to ‘Help others’ & ‘Nishkam Sewa Bhav’.
In the session, Scouts & Guides of our school participated in events like ‘Surgical Strike Day’, and ‘Anti Cracker Diwali Campaign’.
The students completed their ‘Pravesh Sopan’ and ‘Pratham Sopan’ activities at the school level under the guidance of ‘Guide Captain.’ Two days Orientation Programme for Group leaders was organized as DOC Guides, Chandigarh.
Every Saturday in zero period, Scouts & Guides attend their class regularly and perform many activities.
